Location:This position location is 6310 SE Convenience Blvd., Ankeny, Iowa. Shift: 6:00 am?2:30 pm Mon?Thurs 6:00 am?10:00 am Fri, hours may vary and subject to call 24 hours a day during emergency and/or weather conditions. some evenings and weekends As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintenance and repair on the following: HVAC, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical. Guide, review, and approve the work of others. Assists with the development of Statewide construction plans. What we are looking for:

Job Responsibilities:
Assists with the development of Statewide construction plans, product specifications, and project timelines on small to medium projects such as driver license station remodeling, scale building maintenance, office remodeling, building renovation, and new construction projects.
Performs statewide interior and exterior decorative painting using a variety of finishes including latex paints, oil paints, enamel paints, various lacquers, and polyurethane finishes and stains. Use a variety of tools including paint brushes and rollers, sanders, scrapers, spray guns, ladders, scaffolding, drop cloths, and masking equipment.
Performs repairs and maintenance on existing facilities to maintain the aesthetics and functional condition of the buildings.
Coordinate contracted services for custodial contract for Ankeny and Des Moines Facilities. Operate and maintain the heating and cooling system at the Ankeny facility.
Lead employees, teaching and sharing skills in such areas as rough carpentry, finish carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical. Maintain hand and power tools in good working order.
During winter months performs snow removal and ice control.
Special Requirements:
Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
A current state of Iowa Journeyman Plumbing and/or Mechanical License
A current Electrical License
Starting pay is negotiable within the pay scale range, based on years of experience above the minimum qualificationsWhat we Offer:

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Experience equal to three years of full-time work in the building and trades industry;
OR
