Job Description SummaryAAMs Three Rivers Facility is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in a machining environment.

The Manufacturing Engineer will focus on improving efficiency,  implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tooling, and integrating new technologies on the assembly line, including automation and robotics.

As part of the Machining team, they will resolve issues with design, manufacturability, or build sequences while ensuring production-part acceptance and manufacturing readiness. Establishing control charting of critical features and processes; reviewing results and determine machine and process capabilities and performance reliability is also a crucial aspect of the role.

Job Description
Develops manufacturing equipment purchase proposals by studying manufacturing plans and commitments; evaluating processes and requirements.
Recommends new equipment by identifying vendors and operating equipment, evaluating capabilities and service history as well as vendor service and support.
Completes equipment cost projections by analyzing investment, return, and savings.
Monitors equipment installations by crews.
Meets production requirements by designing equipment modifications as needed
Prepares equipment operators by conducting training; providing reference and support resources.
Maintains process integrity by developing and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
Maintains equipment records by filing documents; updating equipment database.
Protects organization value by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or relevant combination of education and experience.
2-5 years experience in machining environment
Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes
Broad knowledge of tooling/programming
