Job Title: Bid Coordinator/Administrator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Bid Coordinator/Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for communicating with subcontractors, receiving and sending out construction documents, and assisting in soliciting bids from subcontractors. The role will support Project Managers, Estimators, and the company President. You will also be tasked with scheduling travel for employees to job sites and assisting in project timeline scheduling. Your responsibilities will extend to working closely with the Estimator from the start of the project until its completion. You will be required to develop, prepare, coordinate, and execute presentations and proposals to clients. You will be working on multiple company bids simultaneously and delivering them in line with deadline objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining proficiency in all internal estimating systems, technologies, and software, supporting all aspects of subcontractor and supplier estimating and bidding processes. Your role will include processing RFP, RFQ, and internal pricing requests, facilitating broadcast announcements of bidding opportunities, competently drafting, proofing, auditing, and delivering both private and public proposals, qualifying subcontractor bids for completeness and compliance, and ensuring company compliance with bidding regulations and project goals.

This is a fully on-site position in Aberdeen, Maryland.
Work Environment
The successful candidate will be working in an office environment with a team of 10 people located in Aberdeen. You will also be supporting field employees. Our office has a close-knit, friendly, family feel and offers a professional work space.
