Description:

The Sr Manager, Digital Data is an integral part of our clients Strategy, Business Intelligence, and Data Operations group. This is a data product management position that will enable our clients digital data from the web and mobile app via our enterprise data warehouse (Snowflake). This person will collaborate with a cross-functional group of data engineers, digital product managers, Adobe Analytics tag implementation, and reporting teams to ingest and transform digital data, integrate multiple data sources, and recommend proactive measures to enable better business decisions every day. The Senior Manager will also partner with IT to implement departmental data strategies, such as efficient data models for clickstream data, and ensure the integration of new digital product enhancements such as cart, product catalog, and order management. Additionally, the Senior Manager will contribute to improving the overall quality of digital data and support other key initiatives in placements, merchandising, and full-funnel analytics.

We are looking for a driven individual with a product mindset, strong consulting skills, a SQL programming background to manage data products in Snowflake for enabling robust data pipelines, and experience with cloud computing & modern data warehousing environments. The primary responsibilities include understanding business requirements, developing appropriate data solutions, and delivering high-quality results while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The optimal candidate is expected to have a deep understanding of Adobe clickstream & funnel data, and to use this knowledge to deliver optimal reporting and analytics solutions.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Demonstrating and Applying Discipline Knowledge

• Manage data product development using Snowflake SQL and/or Spark including:

o Facilitate data integration & exchanges with Digital and Marketing Operations.

o Contribute to data strategy, data management, and enhanced data products for use by the Digital discipline.

o Query digital data to provide validation, research data quality issues, answer stakeholder questions, provide detailed requirements, and produce data product documentation.

o Design data products in Snowflake for enabling reporting and analytics.

o Develop & automate data engineering jobs using stored procedures & task schedulers.

• Identify new ways of engineering existing data or acquiring new data sources to support development of customer data products.

• Act as a bridge between IT and analytics teams facilitating data shares in a timely and accurate manner.

• Collaborate with peers and Director, Data & Marketing Ops to develop systems and technologies that promotes automation & monitoring.

• Act as a trusted subject matter expert & partner with analytics teams to make recommendations on data usage.

• Perform user acceptance testing and build quality assurance plans for new data products.
