Software Engineer Level 2

Jovian Concepts, Inc is looking to hire a Software Engineer level 2 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area. TS/SCI Clearance with a Poly required. No CCAs will be accepted at this time.

T he ideal candidate for this position will have experience with:

Analyze user requirements to derive software design to code new software or modify existing software adding new features and capabilities

Debug existing software and correct defects

Design or implement database or data repository interfaces/queries

Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints

Integrate automated testing as part of the development lifecycle

Requirements

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph. No CCAs will be accepted at this time.

(14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Highly proficient in C and Python for telecommunication applications in LINUX environments

RF signals analysis

Experience with message queue implementation/communication

Experience with implementation of DevOps processes and software in a virtual (VMWare) and containerized (Docker/K8) environments

GPU/CUDA experience
