Summary You will serve as a Technician in the EOD Technology Assessment Branch (D33) Battle Lab Division (D3) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-11 and GS-12. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. Responsibilities You will support scientific and engineering activities: test and evaluation of EOD equipment to conceptualization, write test plans, coordinate assets and resources, field test, data collection and analysis, reporting, and briefing results. You will develop, evaluate, test, and maintain a wide range of specialized and unique laboratory and field test instrumentation and equipment as well as commercial off-the-shelf tools and specialized equipment. You will serve in a test support or test director role as assigned on projects and advises on equipment and EOD procedure technology within an assigned area. You will operate instrumentation and test equipment to support collection of test data. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-9/10 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing technical engineering procedures to conduct demonstrations, assessments, or testing and evaluation of EOD tools and technology for an organization.
