Reporting to VP, Enterprise Compensation, the Director, Compensation Programs COE plays a critical role in shaping our compensation strategy to drive our business forward. The Director, Compensation Programs COE will Lead Humanas Enterprise compensation strategy and programs, developing innovative solutions to ensure programs, and practices remain market competitive and continue to attract and retain top talent.

The Director, Compensation Programs COE will be responsible for the following:

Humanas Compensation Philosophy and Strategy including crafting and refining Humanas compensation philosophy in alignment with business goals and market trends, emphasizing transparency and pay equity principles. Will formulate long-term compensation strategies to attract, retain, and motivate diverse talent.

Humanas Pay Programs, including design, implementation and ongoing management of compensation programs that encompass key areas such as Pay Equity, Pay Transparency, Ancillary/Supplemental pay, Creation of market and business aligned strategies to determine pay mix/STI targets, Enterprise-wide annual Total Compensation benchmarking analysis, and ownership of enterprise salary increase budget, influencing and providing guidance to senior leaders for annual investments in leader pay planning, external market adjustments and pay equity adjustments.

Enterprise Recognition Programs including design, implementation and management of programs that advance Humanas culture and drive our business success.

Humanas job architecture/career framework including design, implementation and ongoing management consisting of over 4000 jobs. Maintain integrity of Humanas job architecture ensuring it remains anchored to market, enabling career growth and adequately reflect skills, knowledge, and talent necessary to drive organization success.

Market Pricing/Benchmarking including external market research and compensation survey data administration that includes purchase and participation in over 35 surveys as well as online data tools. Develop enterprise market pricing guidelines and best practices to ensure all Humana jobs and programs are benchmarked consistently and effectively against industry standards.

Mobility programs that include Relocation, Commutation, Healthcare Leader Rotations and Intern programs. Ensure programs effectively meet the needs of the business and remain market competitive, deliver the right talent, to the right locations, for the right cost.

Communications including development of thorough plans, materials and resources to educate HR Partners, leaders and associates about compensation programs, policies, and practices as well as career framework.

Regulatory Compliance ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation practices, including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Minimum Wages, Pay Transparency/Equal Pay Act, and other relevant legislation.

Leadership including a team of compensation professionals who design programs, manage processes, data, and technology to support needs across all of Compensation (Incentives, Executive Comp, CBATs, Comp COE).

Compensation tools, processes, dashboards, metrics, etc. that inform decisions, enable efficient, cost-effective compensation programs and ensure successful outcomes of projects and initiatives. Includes innovative solutions such as predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, business process automation, etc. to advance compensation strategy and operating model.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

5years of applied experience in various HR Functions

8 or more years of technical experience including management experience

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$164,700 – $226,600 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
