Purpose of Role

The Senior Creative Lead is a masterful storyteller on Under Armour’s Creative Team who is motivated and energized by the power of sport—obsessed with athletes, attitude, authenticity, and all things digital, at every customer touchpoint. This Creative’s work needs to carry the passion of the world’s greatest athletes—from this generation and the next—and the power to help inspire the very best in human performance. This versatile storyteller is also driven and unrelenting in the face of the challenges that balancing big projects and tight deadlines bring.

This role centers around the omni-channel experience in the Americas region, leading: art direction, copy, content development across the entire consumer journey while ensuring it executes with excellence. This effort includes partnering with marketers, designers, content creators and directors to develop stories that strengthen the Brand’s emotional connection with athletes at every touchpoint. The Sr. Creative Lead deeply understands how to create against integrated marketing plans.

Your Impact

Lead and manage the development of brand and seasonal stories across all channels with a strong focus on DTC and Wholesale. This includes meeting with partners to align on marketing/creative strategy, as well as collaborating with creative and cross-functional partners to drive consumer-focused content strategy and execution.

Be part of the team driving new ideas and new approaches to the consumer journey, helping push our creative and Brand forward

Provide leadership, direction, support and feedback to designers and copywriters at any time those teammates may be enlisted to deliver support to this role

Be an advocate for the Brand and an expert on our products—translate that understanding into actionable content and consumer experiences.

Interpret and influence creative briefs and integrated marketing plans to create customer-focused positioning and creative solutions that drive defined KPIs

Support a test-and-learn environment by developing creative that is tested for efficacy and impact


Bachelors degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience OR Masters degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience OR typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree

Willingness to go the extra mile to get the work done and meet commitments made to others (reliability and accountability)

Ability to think strategically, manage many tasks at once, and deliver high-quality output every time, on time

Commitment to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners

Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced, consumer-obsessed, test-and-learn environment

Commitment to developing personal leadership skills and helping creatives at more junior job levels enrich their skills

Experience directing omni-channel creative, experience with digital platforms is a strong plus.

Workplace Location

Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore, MD office.

Return to Work Designation: Hybrid- 3 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

Base Compensation

$115,821.00 – $159,254.70 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individuals relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
