Billing Specialist

We are hiring for a Billing Specialist in Baltimore, MD!


Manage e-billing setup and management of matters, timekeepers and rates, coordinate/process appeals, maintain budgets and research balances as required.

Establish new clients on selected e-billing platforms.

Compile and bill attorney hours and expenses to clients.

Proactively monitor potential errors that may result in the rejection of e-bills.

Review and edit proformas in response to attorney and legal administrative assistant requests.

Ability to handle a high volume of bills per month.

Ability to execute complex bills in a timely manner (i.e., multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, preparation of electronic bills including expense backups and approvals).

Process improvement of the e-billing functions.

Research and analyze deductions and provide best course of action for balances

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Open to medical billing background (portal experience preferred)

Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

SAP Experience preferred

Construction on manufacturer experience preferred.
