Summary

Performs all activities pertaining to basic data entry, clerical, and administrative support for production control, purchasing and manufacturing. Greets Ipsen visitors and directs them to the appropriate person.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

– – Enter shop labor reports into Syteline by daily deadline
– – Assist Purchasing in ordering shop and office supplies; including expediting orders as required; running and reviewing material planning reports as needed
– – Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person
– – Prepare outgoing mail; Distribute incoming mail to appropriate persons
– – Assist departments with copying, filing, scanning and any special projects
– – Assist Human Resources in planning annual events
– – Update and maintain various production spreadsheets as required
– – General office filing and organizing
– – Adhere to company policies and procedures in regards to safety, attendance and tardiness
– – Works with minimal supervision to accurately accomplish any given task
– – Other duties as assigned/needed

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

– – Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook required. Powerpoint helpful.
– – Knowledge of an ERP system is helpful
– – Strong attention to detail required
– – Possess a friendly, positive attitude and greet visitors in a professional manner.
– – Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience

– – High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.
– – Minimum of one year experience in an administrative role, preferably in purchasing, production control, data entry or similar role.
– – Prior experience in an industrial environment with an ERP system is strongly preferred.
