DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This Game Land Maintenance Worker 1 works for a three-year limited term, performs semi-skilled work, and assists with other duties. This includes assisting with the maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, and more. This position will also require you to assist with mowing, developing and maintaining hunter access and other trails, operating a variety of tools and equipment, and other duties from fire prevention to habitat management. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Non-civil service, temporary, full-time.
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or
One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or
One year of construction equipment operation experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:
You must possess an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C drivers license or equivalent.
All positions are required to obtain an active Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) within one year of employment in this job.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
