Contract position; contract can be extended; C2H is possible.

The job is on-site with a hybrid work schedule but remote work might be an option for a very qualified candidate. Candidates ideally must be local or willing to relocate within commuting distance of Pittsburgh PA or Wilmington DE

Product Owner:

– Responsible for creating re-usable omnichannel card processing APIs to support seamless operations of business-critical credit card customer interactions across digital, mobile, voice recognition, and human-assisted channels.

– Develop credit card capabilities that accurately integrate credit card data, business logic, eligibility rules, and controls

– Map business or technical use case scenarios into actionable epics and stories for rapid product development and delivery

– Partner across various organizations, systems, and applications to ensure integrated components adhere to architecture designs

– Maintain alignment among key stakeholders, product managers, business owners, and business and technology leadership

– Lead an agile development crew in agile ceremonies, working with product managers, business system analysts, scrum masters, developers, architects, and testers on a daily basis to ensure the delivery of high-quality and fully tested microservice APIs

– Track and escalate key risks, dependencies, blockers, and impediments to development progress or delivery

– Provide guidance to focus the agile crews effort on the correct priorities based on business value.

– Accountable for creating and maintaining the integrity of the product backlog, prioritizing and leading backlog grooming.

– Partner with the Scrum Master to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog and serve as the primary point of contact for questions from the crew.

– Accept delivery of working products from the agile crew, review and validate their work, and socialize the delivery of business value and outcomes of the sprint iteration to various stakeholders.

– Lead sprint demos to showcase the crews development progress and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.

– Conduct PI or quarterly planning to ensure the agile crew commits to realistic deliverables, prioritizing effectively to execute the product vision and realize business value.

Required Skills and Experience:

– Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum

– SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certifications

– Proven track record as a Product Owner in an Agile environment

– Experience in financial services industry, with a strong background specifically in credit/debit card products, platforms, or services

– Experience working with near real-time streaming data, cloud technology, building APIs, middleware/systems/platforms

– Experience in BIAN ( Banking Industry Architecture Network ) data model

– Prior experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Mural, Visio, or similar
