As a Contract Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for the invoicing of General Maintenance Agreement (GMA) contracts and leases, including new contract set-ups, cancellations, and any contract changes. You will also communicate with customers and sales personnel regarding meter reading audits and billing questions and concerns.

– Review, set up, change, and cancel maintenance contracts for customer equipment in the ERP System
– Update DocRecord with correct information and move into workflow once your process is complete
– Ensure all contracts that are due to bill that month, bill prior to the end of month close
– Perform pre-bill validation of invoices prior to release to the customer to ensure accurate contract billing
– Run audit processes for correct meter reads, product numbers, and program types as needed
– Administer and assist in the collection process for select accounts of the needed meter readings
– Utilize excel spreadsheets as necessary for contract set-up and maintenance processes as well as requested spreadsheet billing
– Research billing discrepancies
– Resolve customer and sales personnel inquiries regarding contracts and billing

A Contract Billing Specialist works in the office and must be able to sit for an extended period of time.


– Strong computer skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
– Previous billing experience is preferred
