Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the overall marketing, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategies that need to be conducted to support Bank regions and lines of business. This position is also responsible for the development of cohesive marketing and DTC plans, as well as creative revisions and compliance approvals. Must constantly analyze to ensure that the efforts are in line with expectations. She/he is responsible for providing support in the accrual and invoicing process of the Marketing and Corporate Communication Department.

Essential Responsibilities

· Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing plans and direct consumer initiatives for all consumer products/services.

· Work with the agencies content/creative development and implementation of 360 advertising campaigns including traditional, digital media, events, and other efforts that contribute to the success of the line of business results.

· Responsible for supporting the Business Analyst, in the accrual and invoicing process of the Marketing and Corporate Communication Department Including but not limited to providing and following up on deadlines established by the accounting department and providing as per-needed training regarding the established process.

· Act as a DTC and marketing subject matter expert providing best practices, trends, and recommendations to managers, officers, specialists, and business partners.

· Prepares and executes marketing plans for assigned regions and/or lines of business under the supervision of his or her direct supervisor.

· Provide support to other marketing program managers in the execution and analysis of DTC campaigns and promotions to improve overall results.

· Processes routine paperwork, including compliance, legal, accounting, and payables under the direct instruction of immediate supervisor.


· Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

· Demonstrated strong project management and organization skills.

· Excellent English and Spanish written and oral communication skills are a must.

· Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team – especially in complex and ambiguous work environments.

· Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy in all work activities.

· Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the marketing department and business units.

· Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

· Computer proficiency including MS Office

· Basic Accounting knowledge

· Strong analytical and creative skills.

· Marketing communication strategies.

· The incumbent must have a basic understanding of planning, coordination, and organization of marketing communication materials, including art development, communications, and advertising; he or she also should have the ability to handle basic accounting matters.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Business Administration is required and at least (1) one of experience or the equivalent combination of Education and Experience needed to be able to perform the functions of this job.
