ASRC Federal is hiring for a Network Engineering Design Support Intermediate. This is an incumbent capture requisition.

Summary: Software Engineering includes the entire process of creating software. It goes beyond the immediate user problem and how to code it, but instead looks at the entire system and lifecycle to avoid larger technical issues.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, document, test, maintain, and debug software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.

Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for internal and external software.

Determine computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Takes direction from team lead and other senior members.

As a member of a development team, participates in meetings, discussions and demonstrations of applications and associated data in support of operational applications in the Classified, Unclassified, and Sensitive but Unclassified environments.

Ensure software standards are met.

Requirements :

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field

Knowledge with code, Agile, data, applications

Active Secret clearance

Candidates will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship is required.
