Accounts Receivable Specialist, Temp-to-Perm, Woodbury

We are looking for Accounts Receivable Specialist for our Client, a beverage manufacturer, located in Woodbury, NY.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 9a-6pm, temp-to-perm.
In this role you will be responsible for the accounts receivable and credit and collection function.
The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience and HEAVY cash application experience. Experience navigating customer websites and portals needed.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Cash applications, verifying and posting receipts, resolving discrepancies.
Process and post cash transactions and receipts.
Update daily cash tracking and reporting.
Manage course of action to validate, analyze, reconcile and expedite the resolution of customer/sales deductions.
Attend meetings with sales to review risk accounts; resolve deductions and charge-backs.
Prepare various accounts receivable reports and analyses.
Develop and maintain strong customer relations.

The salary range for this position is $25-$25/hour
