Job Purpose

Head of product supply for a portion of business related activities: Customer care, Distribution, Supply Chain Planning, External Manufacturing and Integrated Business Planning Process.

Accountable for transforming and integrating the strategy and activity of the Supply Chain function as well as his / her team’s development.

Establish tailored, lean operating models that effectively serve our patients and customers with optimal Service, Cost and Cash.

Manage the relationship with HAs and Associations across the region.

Main Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company objectives, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize customer satisfaction. Deliver targets on all KPIs (e.g. customer service/OTIF, inventory and cost)

Manage relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure smooth operations and adherence to contracts and agreements.

Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes, including production planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, and order fulfillment.

Oversee procurement of raw materials, ensuring quality standards are met and costs are optimized.

Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, Marketing, and R&D, to forecast demand and plan supply chain activities accordingly.

Implement and maintain a robust supply chain risk management program to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure business continuity.

Partner with Quality and Regulatory functions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and certifications pertinent to the vitamins and supplements industry (e.g., FDA, GMP, NSF).

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and make data-driven decisions.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.

Manage the supply chain budget and report on performance and strategic developments to executive management.

Implement key organization changes related to strategic projects, and any other such transformational program (examples: CHLOE, Digital Transformation, SCCORE).

About You

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or technical degree from an accredited college required. Masters Degree in similar area of study preferred.

Experience: 15 years progressive experience in supply chain management in CPG industry (preferably in the vitamins, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or related industry). Proven track record of successfully managing a complex supply chain and delivering results. Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management.

Technical skills & Competencies / Language

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with supply chain management software and ERP systems (NetSuite and SAP).

Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.

Experience with internal and external manufacturing (Turnkey and Tolling)

Strong customer focus

High tolerance for ambiguity – Tactical and Strategic focus

High level understanding and experience in implementing S&OE Processes

Strong financial and inventory control experience
