The Payroll Coordinator holds the responsibility of ensuring that payrolls are processed. In addition, the Payroll Coordinator must ensure that information in ADP is accurate and up to date.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:
Ensure timely processing of all staff payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principles. This includes but is not limited to weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll cycles.
Ensure ADP information is up to date and accurate and maintain the payroll schedule.
Keep an accurate record of payroll – work with HR as necessary for new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, and other requests.
Create payroll journal entries for the accounting system.
Process fiscal year-end reports and reconcile W-2 information for accuracy.
Reporting duties include internal ad-hoc reporting, union dues reporting, and standard payroll reports.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of payroll laws.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to maintain and update payroll information.
1-3 years of experience in payroll processing.
Experience with ADP and ABI a plus
Travel Requirements: May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
Work Environment: This position generally requires that work be performed from the Camden New Jersey 76ers offices, but attendance at events taking place in the arena or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
