Coffman Engineers is seeking an energetic and self-motivated entry-levelMechanical Engineerto join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of diverse, sustainable, and challenging projects for our Spokane office.
We are looking for someone who works effectively with all personality types, is interested in being mentored by a senior engineer in HVAC, plumbing, and piping design, and who desires to grow professionally and stay involved in the activities and exciting trends in the industry. We work in tight-knit teams that support each other and are managed with a healthy work-life balance that is focused on development and caring for the whole person. The successful candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in the HVAC consulting engineering field.
Enrolled in BSME or BS Architectural Engineering with mechanical and energy, or sustainability emphasis.
Completion of classes related to building mechanical systems.
ASHRAE student membership and involvement (preferred)
Experience with Revit MEP (preferred)
Experience with Energy Modeling Software (preferred)
Previous work experience in building system design or construction (preferred)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with MS Office programs
Desire to work as a pro-active team player.
Exceptional technical writing and communication skills
Salary range $67,000-$79,000
