Position Overview

The successful candidate for the Sewer Utility M&O Specialist/Electrical position is skilled in the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of a wide variety of electrical systems and associated equipment used in wastewater treatment process and sewer pumping facilities.

## QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Required Education and Experience

– High School Diploma or GED
– Three years of work experience as a maintenance mechanic preferably in a wastewater treatment plant to include two years of experience in the electrical trades, or
– Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills and ability required to perform the work.

Preferred Education and Experience

– Industrial electrical, electrical construction and process control equipment.
– Washington State Journeyman Electricians License  
– Certification as a Washington State Treatment Plant Operator in Training

This is a full-time position with a wage range of $54,600.00 – $77,126.40 annually and offers: medical/dental/vision, life insurance, PERS State Retirement Plan, 11 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays, monthly vacation and sick leave accruals.
