Maintenance Technician

Pay: 35/hr

Shift:

2nd shift – 3pm-11pm – OT is available

Description:

The Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance along with troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs on automated packaging equipment and various other machinery and equipment.

Job duties will include:

Daily preventative maintenance along with troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairs of various types of packaging equipment, production equipment including pumps, gearboxes, motors etc.

Make adjustments and repairs to machines to maintain operating efficiency and reliability

Install bearings, seals, belts, chains and other parts/components of automated packaging equipment

Pneumatics and hydraulics

Perform machinery lubrication; manual milling, lathe, band saw and presses

Installs and repairs reading blueprints and schematic

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

•Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment and machinery

•Understanding of industrial Equipment, Basic Electricity, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Hand Tools & Power Tools to troubleshoot and maintain equipment

•Must be able to Identify and install bearings, seals, belts, chains, and other parts/components of automated packaging equipment

•Performs preventive/corrective maintenance and investigates problems with production equipment including pumps, gear boxes, etc., following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturers instructions, and engineering specifications

•Must be able to read and interpret Schematics / Blueprints

•PLC knowledge will be a plus
