Plant Manager

Aerotek

Currently hiring a Plant Manager in the Frankfort, IL area. We are seeking someone with 5 years experience and demonstrates a production and engineering background.

Shift: 1st shift- 5 days a week 8 hours per day = 40 hr week.

Pay: 95K-110K

Description:

 Maintain a safe, working environment striving for Zero accidents. Develop and implement strategic safety initiatives.

 Develop awareness of unsafe behaviors and implement risk-based management of safety objectives.

 Maintain compliance to external stakeholders and regulatory agencies across operations.

 Administer personnel policies consistent with company objectives.

 Shall ensure that all functions fulfilled or supervised are carried out in accordance with the requirements as laid out in Company policies and best practices.

 Oversee materials management and supply chain, including Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving and inventory control.

 Develop budgets and manage the cost structure to maintain a minimum variance against the financial plan.

 Effectively manage operations to achieve the production plan and to identify and achieve performance improvements. Motivate, guide, support and coach employees to achieve strategic objectives.

 Ensure practices meet quality requirements as outlined in Tier I & Tier II, plus take responsibility for preparation and implementation of Tier III manuals as required.

 Ensure that the plant operates in a safe manner, that all work is performed using safe work practices and abides by ISO codes of practice

 Responsible for environmental integrity of the site and dealings with regulatory bodies.

 Maintain compliance to external stakeholders and regulatory agencies across operations

 Develop strategic objectives for the factory team that will drive OMP deliverables throughout the year. Guide the development of personal goals for staff as they contribute and achieve business objectives.

 Serve as a contributing member to the Plant Quality Board, and JHSC

 Provide/recommend the necessary equipment to produce BLACHFORD products in the most cost-effective manner.

 Responsible for training of manufacturing personnel and Labor relations.

 Motivate, guide, support, and coach employees to achieve strategic objectives.

 Responsible for all modifications and maintenance of building and equipment.

 Conducts performance reviews for direct reports

 Other duties as required.
