School Social Worker

As a unique organization, AnthroMed Education is dedicated to supporting its Social Workers as they provide exceptional services to students within our partnering schools. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of collaboration, and our purpose is to meet the needs of our students.

We are seeking to add a full-time Social Worker to our team to support students in Blue Island, IL for the 2023-24 school year. Our partnering school is enhancing their student support by adding an additional Social Worker to each of their schools!

Job Responsibilities

Provide services to a caseload of students in 6th-8th grade

Work with students both individually and in group settings

Effectively evaluate, update, and communicate the needs of each student

Professionally communicate with students, colleagues, and families

Participate in IEPs and all other required meetings to benefit the students success

Ability to handle crisis situations

Work a full-time position (Monday-Friday)

Dates: 2023-24 School Year

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work

IL PEL with an endorsement in Social Work

Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
