Reporting to: Manager External Reporting

Position Overview

The Analyst, External Reporting will be a key member of the External Reporting team and will be responsible for assisting with SEC filing preparation and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for several key cycles, including stock-based compensation, investments and financial reporting. The Analyst will also be responsible for participating in certain month-end closing processes, conducting accounting research and analysis and ad hoc projects.

Primary Responsibilities

Prepare Form 10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filings, including financial statements, footnote disclosures, and MD&A

Prepare press release financials including GAAP to Non-GAAP reconciliations

Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley documentation for several key cycles and assist in fulfilling requests for both internal and external auditors

Perform various month and quarter-end close procedures as it relates to stock-based compensation and investment-related areas utilizing various systems

Identify and implement continuous improvements and automation in key external reporting processes

Maintain and improve upon existing Alteryx workflows utilized in financial statement analysis

Conduct and assist with technical accounting research and peer disclosure analysis

Perform review over iXBRL tagging for SEC filings

Actively contribute to various ad hoc projects as required by senior management

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

CPA or demonstrated progress toward CPA required

2 years public accounting or public/corporate accounting experience

Advanced Excel knowledge

U.S. GAAP technical accounting and SEC experience preferred

Workiva, NetSuite, Alteryx and other process automation tool experience preferred

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $61,240- $76,800/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here (https://rise.articulate.com/share/NWT-xukAz2nsMapN3L3TSRXfxzBGrFh#/) .
