Description:

Student currently enrolled in an approved Respiratory Care program. Performs day-to-day respiratory care under the direct supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner. Duties include bronchial hygiene procedures, delivering medicines in accordance with physician orders, oxygen initiation and follow up. Works under the supervision of a senior therapist.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education:

Required: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education

Preferred: Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education

Specify Degree(s): Respiratory Therapy

Minimum Experience:

Required: None

Licensure/Certifications:

Required: CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Preferred: ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified)
