We are seeking to add a full-time Social Worker to our team to support students in Grayslake, IL for the 2023-24 school year.

Job Responsibilities

Provide services to a caseload of around 35 students in Early Childhood through Transition

Support students with severe and profound intellectual disabilities

The social worker will be running a group in a classroom weekly, complete re-evaluations, and push-in services to students in classes, recess, and lunch

Effectively evaluate, update, and communicate the needs of each student

Professionally communicate with students, colleagues, and families 

Participate in IEPs  and all other required meetings to benefit the students success

Ability to handle crisis situations

Work a full-time position with schools hours being 8:00 am – 3:30 pm 

Dates: ASAP – May 24th, 2024

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work

IL PEL with an endorsement in Social Work 

Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
