Responsibilities
Salary: $115000 -130000 USD Annually
Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Demand Planning Manager will lead supply chain demand planning within a division of the US business. This includes forecast management, promotional planning, item/vendor maintenance, and sales and operating planning/execution with 27 Distribution Centers.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Provide leadership, mentoring & coaching to the Supply Chain Demand Supervisors ensuring performance-oriented teams are built at all levels.
Ensure supply chain team is focused on cross-functional collaboration with supply chain partners to ensure alignment and execution of strategic planning initiatives.
Contribute to the sales and operating planning/execution process with Suppliers, Customers, distribution center Operations, and other Supply Chain groups to collaborate on forecasts, promotions, new item launches, and other activities.
Ensure demand team is focused on cross-functional collaboration to reconcile significant forecast variances and refine the forecast to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Drive overall Key Performance Indicators, including monthly forecast accuracy targets.
Provide insight into root causes of forecast errors, developing and implementing solutions to drive continuous improvement.
Partner with key stakeholders to maintain strong and enduring relationships both internally and externally.
Create a culture of innovation to support our customer’s and Martin Brower strategic plans.
Establish annual goals and objectives in coordination with US business objectives, managing performance to ensure success. Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
Develop and manage supply chain initiatives such as process improvement changes, enhanced reporting, and more.
Develop and lead the communication to varying levels within and outside the organization on status updates.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Supply Chain Degree Preferred)
Five (5) years of progressive responsibility and leadership in supply chain or business operation management – emphasis on demand planning preferred.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with all levels of employees, management, and customers
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and leadership qualities including a positive approach to managing and interacting with stakeholders.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to create and tailor communications to a wide variety of audiences.
Strong project management skills, proven ability to develop and implement supply chain & logistics solutions.
Strong business and financial acumen skills
Demonstrated track record of leading significant process improvements and managing through change.
Identifies, develops, and retains talent.
Maintains a culture of inclusion for everyone to succeed.
Communicates and executes change effectively following clear plans and processes.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience
MBA or relevant masters degree
Supply Chain or Procurement certification and/or experience
Proficiency in forecasting and planning systems (JDA or similar)
