Welder

Aerotek is hiring for a MIG in Crystal Lake responsible for welding and fabricating various parts. THIS IS A DIRECT PLACEMENT POSITION THROUGH AEROTEK.

Job Responsibilities:

Complete MIG / TIG welding to weld small and large vibration machinery and equipment

Read and understand assembly prints, pick lists, weld blueprints, sales and shop orders

Utilize an overhead and jib crane to move pre welded materials or finished product

Qualifications:

Welding certificate OR on the job welding experience

Pass a weld test of various passes

Able to interpret welding symbols

Work Environment / Shift:

1st Shift: 6 am – 2 pm

2nd Shift: 2 pm – 12 am

Warmer environment in the summer

Steel toed boots and welding gear required
