Payroll Administrator

POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Payroll Administrator. The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full time at a location other than a POWER Engineers designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related customer service, recordkeeping, and reporting duties

First point of contact for payroll related issues

Conducting all payroll transactions in Ceridian Dayforce including, but not limited to:

Processing payroll

Employee record maintenance

Terminations

Leave of Absences (LOAs)

Benefit deductions

Garnishments

Prevailing wage

Multinational expatriates

Government contracted payrolls

Assist with timesheet issues in Microsoft Dynamics

Other duties as assigned

Required Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum five (5) years of current and relevant experience in payroll, accounting, interpreting state and federal employment laws around payroll practices

Ability to work with minimal supervision with high levels of motivation and autonomy

Must have exceptional multitasking abilities and organizational skills with strong follow through and attention to detail

Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Desired Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Relevant certifications, such as Certified Payroll Professional, or American Payroll Associate

Experience with Ceridian Dayforce, Ceridian reporting, and Microsoft Dynamics

Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $25-$29 hourly; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidates job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
