Drive Culture and Build Engagement (50%)

Operational Execution (30%)

Demonstrate Department Expertise, Excellence and Operational Command allowing for planning of the

daily activities, providing clear direction to the team, ability to make immediate operational decisions and

meet all objective of the area.

Build daily/weekly plan; communicate, monitor, and adjust to meet or exceed all performance

channel KPI’s

Maintain department operational flow ensuring continuous production and team productivity to meet

individual and process objectives.

Ensure the interdependencies of the department support the larger operation positioning up and

downstream process areas for success.

Treat inventory as if you personally own it by managing care in the handling and accuracy of all product

movement and transactions within the department.

Drive continuous improvement in operations and process areas that lead to a better customer experience

in quality, accuracy, efficiencies, expense reductions, and increased productivity.

Monitor and react to production and volume needs maximizing resources that drive productivity through

the movement of team members within a channel and facility.

Responsible for eTime timecard maintenance (adjusting timecards to reflect scheduling changes including

pay code tracking).

Identify and address cross training needs to maintain proper level meeting what is required for production.

Ensure team members have the tools, equipment and technology, to maximize their effectiveness.

Customer Focus (10%)

Throughout the running of a daily department operation, make all decisions with customer’s best interest

being first priority.

Ensure accuracy and quality of inventory to enhance the customer experience and make sure all actions

and processes drive excellence.

Operate with a Customer Mindset ensuring that No Short Cuts are taken that impact accuracy, quality and

integrity.

Deliver inventory results to impact shortage, reduce damages and improve turn, productivity and sales.

Business Minded (10%)

Achieve costs and expense associated with decisions and actions of running an operation and treating as

if it’s your personal bank account.

Develop and manage budgets for direct/indirect labor planning and supplies to prepare for volume and

production while achieving financial objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

General understanding and knowledge of distribution center technologies (Manhattan warehouse management systems (WMS), automated unit sortation, automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS)/Goods-to-Person (GTP), automated shipping and receiving sortation, pick-to-light, radio-frequency scanners, warehouse control systems (WCS), conveyors, etc.).

Active listener. Strong communication skills in both written and oral formats.

Organization skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

BS/BA degree in a related field, preferred.

3-5 years of managerial level experience with a preference of 1-3 years in the apparel distribution

functional area.

Prior experience in automated distribution center is preferred.

Experience leading teams of 20 associates (non-exempt).

Experience working within highly automated technology.

Experience working in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL AND WORK DEMANDS

Must be available to work in a multi-channel, multi-shift distribution environment, flexible to work

different shifts and extended hours based upon business needs.

Must be able to stand and work for long periods including daily overtime, holidays and overtime as

required.

Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking,

standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Must be able to repetitively lift cases weighing up to forty pounds.

Must be able to work in varying temperatures.

Must be able to work Holiday schedule.

Must be available to work multiple consecutive days during peak periods.

Comply with Blackout Periods (no vacation or personal time allowed) as determined by Management.
