What You Will Do :
We are looking for a Deputy Technical Program Manager to join our team. The Deputy Technical Program Manager will assist the Program manager with the success of customer implementations. The ideal candidate will leverage their strong background in technology delivery to lead the effort across customer and internal teams to manage the design, structure and manage engagements, deployments and integrations at every stage ensuring they are delivered correctly, efficiently and on schedule.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to communicate effectively with technology and business teams, and they will possess a deep knowledge of program management, technology infrastructure, networks, and security requirements. As a fully hands-on leader, a successful Program Manager will be excited to jump in to lead projects, addressing every detail to ensure project success. They will thrive on bringing clarity to ambiguity. They will, in parallel, see the big picture and create a working structure and the supporting processes that will serve as the framework and foundation for extreme growth.
The Deputy Program Manager shall be responsible for:
Assisting the PM in the overall performance, quality, schedule, and cost for the contract.
Support the Program Office in executing their program management activities, planning client transition to the technology solution
Prepare for governance process reviews
Assisting with communications demonstrating the capabilities of the technology solution.
What You Will Need :
Experience leading Momentum implementation
Experience leading the implementation of large, complex financial and acquisition management cloud-based solutions
Experience delivering major, wide-scale systems implementations for Cabinet Level Agencies
Experience working with agile and traditional project management methodologies
Experience managing a large program at VA
15 years experience in areas related to finance, acquisition, and technology
Bachelor’s Degree
Active Agile and PMP Certifications
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Masters Degree
