Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking Physicists. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grummans Transformational Technology Business Area, which is focused on developing innovative next generation superconducting electronics (SCE) and advanced computing technologies.
This position requires work onsite at our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) facility in Linthicum, Maryland.
Basic Qualifications for a Physicist:
Must have a masters in physics, engineering, mathematics, or similar discipline with a minimum of 6 months of relevant professional experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security TS/SCI clearance per business requirements (US citizenship is a pre-requisite for this).
Proven skills at tackling/solving complex problems.
A strong ability to learn new topics quickly in a fast-paced environment.
A highly motivated self-starter
Works well in a collaborative, diverse environment.

Salary Range: $81,000 USD – $121,600 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
