Work youll do:

Provide support for ERP financial system implementation and system testing

Work with government leaders and end-users to understand current state business processes, develop future state processes with next generation systems/applications, delivery training, risk management, and successfully support end-user adoption

Advise our clients on technical accounting and internal controls matters

Responsible for requirements gathering, process design, system configuration, testing, documentation and support

Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects

Participate in pre-sales, proposal, and RFP initiatives

Provide counseling & coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff

Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities and provide input and guidance into the staffing process

Perform analysis and diagnosis of client issues

Provide coaching to junior staff

Participate and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and the contract

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelors degree required in accounting, business, finance or another business-related field

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

8 years of experience supporting an SAP-based ERP financial system implementation in finance and accounting modules, including SAP General Ledger, SAP Accounts payable, SAP Accounts Receivable, SAP Bank Accounting, SAP Asset Accounting, or SAP Funds Management

8 years of finance transformation, process improvement, and reconciliation experience

8 years of relevant consulting or industry experience

Experience leading and mentoring others

Ability to travel 15%, on average, based on work you do and the clients and the industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification

MBA

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York City, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York City, and Washington State and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $218,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
