Accountant

Position Title : Accountant

Location : Philadelphia, PA

Pay : $24/hr. – $26/hr.

A reputable university is currently hiring for an Accountant to work with the accounting team to assist with the cost and accounting related tasks in their construction project management software. An ideal candidate must have in depth knowledge of reconciliations, posting journal entries, processing AP invoices & experience in a large ERP software.

Responsibilities Include :

Accounts Payable processing within Oracle Cloud

Prepare Final Reconciliation and close out process for the closeout of completed projects.

Review and Approve Payment Applications and Invoices for payment processing

Book journal entries for budget and any reconciliation adjustments

Assign costs accurately for different components to create assets when the construction projects are substantially completed.

Assist with other ad hoc analysis and metrics reporting.

Qualifications

· Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

· 1 years of experience with reconciliations and journal entries for month end close

· 1 years of experience processing accounts payable invoices

· 6 months of experience working within an ERP such as Oracle, SAP, JDE, Workday, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar

· 1 years of experience creating pivot tables, vlookups and formulas within Microsoft Excel
