The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior FHAT Systems Engineer to support Boeing Global Services in Ridley Park. PA . Come join us and lead the development of our Fleet Health Analytics Tool (FHAT) supporting our rotatory platforms. The ability to work well with large groups of diverse stakeholders will be pivotal. Extracting key requirements from those stakeholders and translating them into actionable engineering tasks will be central to the role as well.

Position Responsibilities:

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.

Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.

Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Experience in Aviation health management

Experience in Agile Product Development

Experience in Systems Engineering

Experience leading cross-enterprise teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or related technical discipline

SAFE Agile Product Development Experience

5 years of experience managing multi-faceted, complex projects

5 years executing projects supporting military aviation sustainment services

5 years of experience with software development

Typical Education/ Experience:

(Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD4 years related work experience, Master7 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

(Level 5)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD9 years related work experience, Master12 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range (Level 4): $128,350- $173,650

Summary Pay Range (Level 5): $157,250- $212,750
