The Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the TCU residents’ physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines at our beautiful and vibrant Care Center in Lake City, MN.

Full-time Nursing schedule includes;

80 hours in two weeks

Self scheduling. Nights, Pick your own hours!

Lake City Care Center in Minnesota is owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer. At any given time, as many as 90 people call our Transitional and Long term care center their home. We are connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital, so patients and residents dont have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.

Responsibilities/Job Description

Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual plan of care

Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies

Provides data relevant to the development of the plan of care

RN – Assesses plan of care, resident goals and revises, modify plan of care as necessary

Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided

Qualifications

Required:

Current MN RN license by start date

AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers by start date

Preferred:

Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems

Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work with and have sensitivity to the needs of the geriatric population

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the residents and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination series. [NOTE: the COVID-19 vaccination requirement does not apply to Ebenezer Homeowners Association (HOA) employees and Ebenezer Florida employees. Annual Flu vaccinations, while not required, are highly recommended for all Ebenezer staff..

Ebenezer new hires who are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and are currently not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date.
