DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior Manager R&D Job Description As the
Senior Manager R&D, you will lead the North America Depend Brand Product
team to develop, prioritize and transform insights into innovative
consumer solutions, commercialize these solutions in the marketplace,
and maintain our brand equity through business-sustaining efforts. You
will provide end-to-end leadership to an R&D team from Insights (Front
End Innovation), commercialization, and Life Cycle Maximization. You
will provide technical input and direction on a broad range of business
unit plans and objectives as well as develop a prioritized portfolio of
consumer solutions by gaining consumer insights, developing and
commercializing products well aligned with technology capabilities and
resources to meet current and anticipated future business needs. This
includes responsibilities for the development of the pipeline of
innovation for the Depend mainline and Super Premium variants for Men
and Women, Depend Mens Guards and Shields, as well as Depend Bed Mats.
In this role, you will collaborate with key customers (ex. Marketing and
Supply Chain) to meet quality, safety, regulatory, cost, productivity,
and brand equity objectives of commercialized solutions. In this role,
you will: Ensure the identification and effective execution of
Innovation/Insights (FEI), Development and Commercialization to deliver
business plans Ensure execution and protection of our consumers
through Life Cycle Maximization initiatives including (but not limited
to) DtV, supply continuity, quality support/optimization, productivity
support, and material qualifications. Work with category leadership
to deliver upon business objectives Deploy internal product
development resources to deliver short- and long-term business results
and define technology development plans, including budget management
Define long-term vision product and associated multi-year Innovation
Pathways and technology migration plans Ensure the appropriate and
effective protection for proprietary information Support the
implementation of business practices within the organization including
but not limited to IMF, LEAN, Design Controls, Portfolio Management and
resource management Ensure all work complies with corporate safety,
regulatory, product safety and sustainability requirements Manage
talent to consistently improve R&E capabilities Communicate
appropriately with all customers, conducting all communications and
transactions with the utmost integrity and honesty so as to build an

or engineering discipline and 10 years or more of industrial experience
or another equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience combined with
demonstrated ability to lead and direct an R&E team and projects to meet
business objectives The ability to coach and develop team members for
career development and performance improvement Proven ability to
collaborate across functions/departments to drive balanced business
decisions Prior experience in Front End Innovation (FEI) or consumer
insights Experience working closely with the brand team members to
ensure projects align with both short and long-term brand strategies
Experience with key processes and tools including IMF, LEAN, etc.
