DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Engineering Team Leader – Pilot Facility
Position Summary: This role provides leadership to the KCPX Pilot
Facility and enables achievement of the Personal Care R&E product,
process and material innovation objectives. Youll contribute to
setting and executing the overall strategic vision and tactical
direction of the Pilot Facility Operations and support functions to
ensure all safety, quality, customer service, career development and
innovation deliverables are achieved. Responsibilities: Safety: Lead
by example by supporting all EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) loss
prevention programs at the facility, including ownership of targeted
activities Quality: Ensure facility adherence to all QMS Quality
Management System procedures & processes Innovation: Lead the trial
planning process for targeted assets within the facility and ensure the
flexible utilization of all facility assets Technical Knowledge:
Build & maintain the technical knowledge of the facility process
technicians to ensure the efficient execution of all
product/process/material trials. Provide leadership/guidance to the
facility warehouse contractor lead – ensuring safe operation of the
warehouse team Provide leadership and work direction to a team of
10-15 process technicians Builds an assertive, proactive,
results-oriented team that is passionate about winning through teamwork.
Identifies and hires top-tier talent; maximizes team member
effectiveness by providing ongoing coaching and feedback; creates
opportunities for growth and development. Influence: The team leader
role will influence direct and indirect reports within the facility,
including internal customer team members executing trials at the
facility. Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to
influence recommendations/decisions beyond the Pilot facility, including

minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience Ability to lead and
manage a multi-disciplined team to meet objectives Ability to grow
the capabilities of direct reports Demonstrated ability to
collaborate effectively with cross-func ional customer teams Ability
to identify and execute continuous improvement ideas Preferred:
Strong working knowledge of high-speed converting equipment Proven
process development skills in a manufacturing and/or development
facility environment Ability to work in a matrix organization and
drive collaboration across cross-functional teams Experience with
