
Cashier
All American Do It Center
Join our cashier team! This is a full-time, hourly position requiring problem solving, detail-oriented, outstanding customer service, and excellent communication skills. Prefer 1-2 years experience of cash handling and customer service experience.
Starting pay is $15.00 per hour for full-time.
Our Team Members are asked to work every other weekend and must be willing to work some evenings.
Job Summary
Cashier Team Members are responsible for a positive sales floor customer experience. This position will utilize our customer service guidelines during the entire sales process, from entering the store, providing product information, performing cashier functions and ensuring the customer leaves our store satisfied.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide excellent customer service
Greet customers entering the store
Help customers find the location of products
Answer customers’ questions and provide information on company policies
Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
Receive payments by cash, check, and credit cards
Answering phones as instructed and help customers over the phone as needed
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
