Position Summary:

You will work closely with an experienced financial advisor and team – receiving mentorship, coaching, and access to training and support. You will service members of an established book of business from a retiring financial associate in Minocqua, WI.

$50,000-$100,000 Base Salary based on experience, plus commissions

Hours: Self-directed full time, around 40-50 hours/week typically between the hours of 7am-7pm Mon-Fri. Occasional evening or weekend client events

Responsibilities:

Be familiar with and uphold the mission of the company in all interactions: Mission Statement: We believe that everyone deserves a holistic financial plan. Therefore, our mission is to help more people become more financially secure and live more generously

Serve all clients according to our service model, meeting types and flow

Document every client interaction according to processes, utilizing Salesforce tasks in compliance with each teams needs (Application and Documents, Meeting Preparation, Client Service, and Marketing)

Gather any needed additional financial data from the client after a Connect meeting and explain how they can do so, staying in constant contact with them until required data is gathered

Take advantage of all professional development opportunities the team and Thrivent offers in conjunction with mentorship by peer Turnhall Financial Group Advisors, management, staff, and professional mentors and coaches

Attend all mandatory team meetings and training, including all scheduled meetings with Ben Carr and/or Bree Talbot, Director of Advisor Relations, or inform the Director of Advisor Relations if you will be late or miss the scheduled meeting

Use set Turnhall Financial Group team fee-based planning fees as a minimum

Take at least ten business days of vacation annually with no communication with or about work

Follow team standard procedures (i.e., no filling out forms, applications, performing staff-designated work, client mailings, etc.) without permission from someone on the management team. If these are done incorrectly by the Advisor or without permission from management, the sole responsibility for mistakes and corrective measures falls on the Advisor

Solely responsible for client communication and scheduling client meetings according to lead times set by Turnhall Financial Group procedures and team leads unless Turnhall Financial Group has provided a dedicated Office Professional to assist with these tasks

Attend all Turnhall Financial Group Marketing Team set meetings and implement team engagement

Be able to meet clients using virtual meeting technology (Zoom) effectively

Talk about generosity when it is appropriate

In addition to these responsibilities, the following are the minimum requirements to remain a member of the Turnhall Financial Group Team. If these minimum requirements are not met, the possible consequences include, but are not limited to:

Warning meetings with management

An increase in split paid to Turnhall Financial Group, and termination from the Turnhall Financial Group Team

These metrics will be evaluated quarterly by the Turnhall Financial Group Management Team:

Must have a minimum of three Discovery meetings per month

Must have an open task for every client indicating the next meeting/contact to be made

Must have no duplicate tracking tasks

Must have no more than 15 overdue tasks at any time

Must enter compliant meeting notes into Salesforce within 48 hours of the meeting (We encourage all Advisors to enter immediately following the meeting to encourage note accuracy.)

Must log all client interactions in Salesforce

Must deliver all compliant disclosures for every client interaction

Do not work with clients that:

Are disrespectful to any Turnhall Financial Group staff or Advisor

Do not follow the team’s financial advice

Refuse to be transparent and provide all financial data needed, including our requirement that legal spouses provide information as well

Pose a risk to Turnhall Financial Group‘s reputation

Additional responsibilities may be assigned in accordance with business needs

Position Qualifications:

Either currently securities licensed (7, 66 or 7, 63 &65) and life health licensed, or the ability to pass licensing within required timeframes

Ability to network and develop new client relationships to grow the Thrivent presence in Minocqua

Passionate about living a life of generosity by serving others

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Strong and proficient technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Windows 10 environment, and Zoom) or ability to learn

Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information

As part of Turnhall Financial Group recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidates background will be made to complete the process. Fingerprints will be required as part of FINRA registration process for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
