Manufacturing CNC Machinist – 3rd Shift

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Manufacturing CNC Machinist Principal Duties and
Responsibilities: 1. Basic computer navigation skills required for data
lookup and documenting daily activities to specific jobs using company
software. 2. Position and secure work pieces in fixtures or holding
devices. 3. Start automatic operation of CNC Machines to machine parts
to specifications. 4. Measure, examine, and test completed parts in
order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using
precision measuring instruments. 5. Follow a manufacturing plan which
includes; setup sheets, inspection guides, and applicable work
instructions. 6. Confer with supervisor or Level 3 CNC Machinist to
resolve machine malfunctions and production errors, and obtain approval
to continue production. 7. Must display organizational, as well as
cleanliness skills to minimize the potential for human error oversights.
8. Removal of burrs from machined parts using a variety of hand and
power tools. 9. Other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the
responsibilities of this position. Manufacturing CNC Machinist Physical
Requirements: Spends prolonged periods of time standing. Some exposure
to noise, dirt, minor vibrations and chemicals/solvents. May be required
to lift, carry or push up to 40 pounds. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Some
Machinist experience preferred but not required. Machine Tool courses
