PeopleReady of Wausau, WI is now hiring Fiber Optic Cable Installers! We are seeking 4 workers to join our crew, laying fiber optic cable throughout the greater Wausau area. This is all outside work, Monday-Friday, starting at 7am each day. Most days are 8-10 hours and overtime is available most weekends if desired. You are paid DAILY for your work. Will work first 520 hours (about 3 months) as a temp before being hired on as a direct employee, at which point you will become eligible for benefits

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22 / Hour

What youll be doing as a Fiber Optic Cable Installer:

Specific duties include laying fiber optic cable, digging holes where cable will be laid, laying and stretching cable and burying cable once laid.

This is stable, long-term work.

We are seeking very stable, long-term workers.

Available shifts:

Shift timings – 1st Shift Day

Job requirements:

Qualified candidates will be 100% dependable and seeking a long-term position.

Direct experience laying fiber optic cable is not necessary, but prior construction or other labor experience is a plus.

Must be able to work as part of a team or independently 

Steel toe work boots are required for this position.

Safety vest, hard hat and gloves will be provided on jobsite
