The Compensation Analyst – primary focus is to prepare, and audit financial reporting related to the Festival health, welfare, wellness, retirement benefit plans and compensation processes.
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Compiles and organizes all information using system tools and resources to create needed reporting for the annual merit process and bonus calculations, including weekly tracking of associate changes. Ensures accuracy and meets all defined deadlines.
Creates and ensures data accuracy of participant census reports for health and welfare, 401(k) and ESOP plans.
Become an expert of the UKG system reporting functions to provide data and create needed reports for the total rewards team to address problems, solve questions and analyze efficiency.
Contribute to benchmarking activities such as compensation and benefits survey preparation.
Supports Total Rewards Manager to create accurate and timely ACA, 5500, HSA and non-discrimination reporting.
Works with UKG and benefit vendor file experts to build interface reports and ensures accuracy
Audit of ESOP benefit records to ensure accuracy and consistency of data
Verification of ESOP statements and ESOP distribution payments for all terminated/retired participants
Creation of ESOP annual census
Completes audits of annual enrollment reports and ensures files sent to vendors accurately reflect all changes made.
Creates reports to accurately forecast and budget compensation and benefit costs of different scenarios and to capture key total rewards metrics and trends such as Total Compensation Statements.
Performs regular audits of Total Rewards HRIS data to ensure accuracy in reporting and pay to associates.
Analyzes vendor reporting to track associate completion of wellness activities and ensures medical premium credits are assigned accurately.
Increases Total Rewards team’s productivity by developing, automating, and organizing reporting.
Develop routine and ad-hoc analysis to support HR decisions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, with a major in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field. 3-5 years of business experience with forecasting, planning and analysis.

Solid financial acumen, analytical, problem solving, data management, and business partnership skills
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, and then summarize and communicate the key messages simply and succinctly to team members at all levels of the organization
Collaborative team player with process improvement mind set
Excellent computer proficiency and technical aptitude, including HRIS software and Excel. Experience with UKG HR information system preferred
Highly organized- excellent attention to detail and accuracy related to data, problem solving and decision making
Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set multiple overlapping priorities
Strong interpersonal skills
Continuous improvement and change management skills
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Organization Relationships: Frequent contact with Human Resources, Finance and Accounting associates to gain information, work on joint projects and utilize expertise
External Business Relationships: Frequent contact with Benefit vendors as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Sitting or standing at a computer 90% of the time
Bending, stretching, and occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs. is required

The Compensaiton Analyst is a full-time, salaried position.
