JOB REQUIREMENTS: PURPOSE OF POSITION: Manage the day-to-day operations
of Human Resources in the areas of Benefit Administration, Compliance &
Systems, Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are normal for this position.

assigned as needed. Benefit Administration 1. Administer benefits to
employees including life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans,
vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance. 2.
Enroll eligible employee for benefits plans. Review benefits with
employees and process enrollment, cancellation or changes. 3. Organize
and manage annual open enrollment communications and election
process.Maintain records as required. 4. Lead the development of benefit
orientations and other benefits training for employees. 5. Recommend
changes in benefits offered to retain and attract talent. 6. Coordinate
regular employee communications including Monthly Business Review,
Employee Newsletter, and Intranet. Compliance & Systems 1. Maintain
employee personnel files. 2. Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9
Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audit I-9
documentation. 3. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to
continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
4. Maintain and continuously improve the human resource information
system. 5. Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment
and benefits laws and regulations. 6. Maintain and process all
Unemployment Notices and potential charges. 7. Administer various Human
Resource plans and procedures for all personnel; assist in the
development and implementation of policies and procedures; prepare and
maintain the Employee Handbook and other compliance documents. 8.
Support Safety Program with administration needs such as maintaining
Hearing Conservation Program documentation. 9. Develop and maintain a
Human Resources information system that meets the organizations
personnel information needs. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding 1.
Coordinate Recruitment, interviews, tests, and selection of employees to
fill vacant positions. 2. Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and
non-exempt personnel, students and temporary employees including any
advertisement efforts needed. 3. Coordinate new-employee orientations.
4. Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation.
Employee Relations 1. Maintain and coordinate employee recognition
programs. 2. Ensure completion of a monthly newsletter to employees. 3.
Participate on our employee led IMPACT team and provide input from an HR
perspective. 4. Be a liaison for employees for questions or concerns.

experience; or 2. A Bachelors Degree and 1 to 3 years of HR
experience; or 3. 5 years of experience in the HR field; or 4. Any
similar combination of education and experience. Additional Eligibility
Qualifications 1. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. PHYSICAL
