Electronic Production Worker

Description:

This person will never be doing the same thing every day and must be willing and able to be cross trained and eager to learn the whole business. They are looking for someone that is not looking for present but wants a long future with the company.

Some areas that this person will be working in are learning how to clean the soldering machine. There are small, medium and larger cleans. In this role the candidate has to have extreme attention to detail because they will be working with 750 degrees to hot molten solder. They will learn how to do different maintenances with Adam who is the lead technician. This is a very hot and detailed cleaning. They will be required to put on overalls and work side by side for a few cleans per year.

They will also learn how to run the soldering machine. This consists of taking the board and laying it flat into the machine to check the quality. They will also run the Wave Soldering Machine.

Another area that they will be bouncing into is the assembly area. In this area candidates will be doing various kitting or light assembly. They will be putting on small pieces like lenses and buttons to alarms and phones to be shipped out.

Also, they would love to see someone with hand soldering, thru-hole and surface mount soldering. Someone must be able and willing to do some inspection visually and thru a microscope. If the person is going to be soldering they will have their own work station.

They will expect this person to never roll their eyes or not to be excited to learn a new task. This is a very family based company where if you don’t see the big picture you’re not going to see the end result.

• Run, Clean, Maintenance on Solder Machine

– 6 Months of electronic MFG experience

– 6 months of solid work experience
