
Accounting Coordinator

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Core Responsibilities: Identifies and
suggests preventative and corrective actions to fix AP invoice issues so
that vendor invoices can be processed for payment. Timely and accurate
entry of all accounts payable journal entries. Completes monthly account
reconciliations. May also be asked to assist with general end of month
closing duties. Balances shipments, order and inventory in the JBA
system daily. Assist Controller with special projects as needed. Process
weekly Union hourly payroll Correct labor entries and errors using ERP
system. Maintain all receiving records from POs to receiving lists;
insuring proper signoffs with dates are present to meet compliance
requirements. Assist in contract reviews, internal audits and assist in
corrective action activities. Assist Shared Services with AR
Collections: this includes contracting customers, providing
documentation to customers, other AR tasks. Coordinate with other
departments on customer pricing to ensure invoice accuracy. Analyze AR
data monthly and report out AR data. Complete other tasks/projects as
directed by the Assistant or Plant Controller. Qualifications: 2-4 years
of experience in accounting Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS
Excel. Excellent written and oral communication skills. High degree of
accuracy and attention to details required. Must have ability to
multitask, and skill to relate across all levels of management and union
within organization. Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in
Business or Accounting with a minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in the
field. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
Internet & ERP systems. Highly evolved communication skills (verbal,
