Production Associate

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary Set up, operate, and tend molds to
create elements for a wide variety of shoes. Coordinate with other
departments to ensure machines work properly and accurate run of molds.
Keep track of daily output requirements. Responsibilities Repair and wax
molds for surface imperfections. Move and position mold sections using
lift tables. Brush wax onto mold sections to facilitate removal of
elements from molds. Lift upper mold sections from lower sections and
remove elements. Visually inspect elements to ensure quality. Hang
elements on appropriate racks for baking process. Distribute elements to
appropriate bins in saw department. Accurately cast molds. Monitor
temperature of molds. Monitor pressure gauges of casting machines. Other
duties as assigned. Experience and Skill Required High School Diploma or
equivalent. Minimum two years of continuous molding experience. Good
mechanical aptitude. Ability to read precision measuring instruments and
learn computer spreadsheets. Ability to read and interpret production
schedules and issue computer generated reports. Must be detail oriented
and possess good communication skills as well as time management skills.
