Laboratory Technician

Job Description:

Working in Media Lab producing media, making agar plates, bottles and broth media.

Perform microbiological testing on samples received from customers

Perform a variety of testing including bacillus testing, bacterial enumerations, plating, pipetting, etc.

Document all testing, data, and information in correct paper form or computerized form

Calibrate and troubleshoot lab equipment as needed on a daily basis

Assist other team members and with other remedial tasks such as taking out the trash, helping partners complete customer samples, etc.

Clean and sanitize equipment, work stations, etc. on a daily basis

– Degree in the Sciences. Preferred Biology or Microbiology
