Electrical Engineering Lead

We are developing a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility and lab and need a Project Manager.

The Project Manager will manage the immediate project to construct the lab and long-term will be managing product development projects.

The immediate project involves new facility specification, construction, coordination of existing equipment and the transition.

The candidate will project management this immediate work and interface with the following:

R&D team and lab personnel for planning of testing/equipment, project test needs to minimize impact to NPD projects

Construction company and architects

Electrical coordination of new facility per specification

Coordinate build of switchgear for new facility

The Project Manager leads product development teams in the overall project planning and execution, balancing scope, schedule and resources.

Manages 4-5 projects at a time related to activities from concept to design transfer into Manufacturing.

Ensures cross-functional communication to facilitate project completion on time and within budget, effectively utilizing the defined product

development process.

Works with engineering management to identify and improve process and project efficiencies.

Leads the project team in the overall project planning and execution, and product quality while balancing scope, schedule and resources.

Establish strong operating mechanisms to track progress, identify issues and risks, overcome obstacles, and define recovery plans.

Participate in the definition and development of technical solutions and requirements for assigned R&D projects, ensuring the most cost effective and reliable solution for the project requirements, and protecting the interests of the company while assuring the solutions fit company guidelines.

Qualifications:

BSEE Degree with 3 years recent experience leading cross functional teams to deliver products involving hardware and circuit design
