Welder – 1st Shift

JOB REQUIREMENTS: – Maintain welding equipment making adjustments to
weld different parts or subassemblies – Perform various simple welding
operations (i.e. pins, knuckles, joints) following blueprint weld
symbols with limited supervision – Move parts and/or workpiece manually,
by crane and secure workpiece in weld fixture or table using clamps and
wrenches – Maintain production quantities, efficiencies, and quality on
parts welded – Perform quality control inspections and clean welded
components – Prepare surfaces to be welded and work with blueprints to
verify accuracy of pre-assembled metal components to be welded – Perform
simple measurements using devices or gauges to check work – Position or
tighten braces, jacks, clamps, cable slings, or may bolt parts in
position for welding or riveting OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: – Minimum 1 year of previous welding experience
